What to expect...

Well the final decision has been made. I will be attending my local public high school this year. I am anxious, nervous, excited, and just don't even know what to expect! I will so much miss the familiarity that I had become so accustomed to at my previous school. I am also very saddened by the fact that so many people I know will have my wonderful mommy as their math teacher and I will not be able to. And let's not forget all the great people I will be leaving behind, but I have made a promise to myself that I will keep in touch with all my dear friends no matter what. But we have agreed that this move is for the best. I am very much looking forward to meeting new people and being part of new experiences.

My new school's orientation was today and boy is that school huge! It will take some time to get used to all the new things the school has to offer. Such as no uniforms (good and bad?), so many more people (and let's not forget the plethora of new people), a much larger campus, more freedom, a different schedule and school times. Luckily, I'll have my brother, who will also be new to all of this, to experience this with me. And thank goodness I have him in my lunch! I have come to realize it doesn't matter too much if I don't know anyone in my classes just yet. I mean really class is the place to learn in, not socialize. So time to make the best of the remaining 2 days of my 2010 summer.

Car soon? Who knows...hopefully!

Pretty pictures for perhaps some first day of school outfit (since now I have to worry about that) inspiration.
