Ever since I have returned from my oh so wonderful summer program at Northwestern University I have been thinking about creating a blog and now, almost a month later, I have finally done so. I would like to thank my wonderful friend for the clever title (and subtitle) of my new blog. She is definitely one of my inspirations for creating a blog because hers is too great. So my fellow readers, which I'm sure I don't quite yet have any, you should check it out!
I'm sure you are aware how some blogs post pictures along with their thoughts. I am still deciding if I should follow in their footsteps and do the same? We'll see. I think I probably will when I feel the time is right.
As to what is happening in my life right now I would have to say I'm not quite sure. You see, with less than 5 days until school begins, I am still not very certain where I will be spending my 2010-2011 school year. When I tell people this they seem very surprised, as they should be. My two choices as of now for the location of my junior year are at my local community college at which I could receive my Associate's degree while I complete my last two years of high school or my local public high school. My previous school, a charter school, is not an option in my mother's opinion. I see where she's coming from, but at the same time I feel like I will be somewhat forgotten and miss out on those after school adventures that I had become so accustomed to (and maybe even some new times with new people). But I will see everyone often at SAT tutoring sessions, weekend outings, and whatnot. Well whatever ends up happening will be for the best.
Okay one more paragraph and thats it. Wow I have a feeling blog postings aren't supposed to be this lengthy but not to worry they won't be after this one. So this is a bitter sweet ending to the summer. Perhaps more bitter than sweet. Thursday will be a very lugubrious day when saying farewell to a friend. And not to mention almost the end of summer. But let us make the best of what's left!
So I have decided to leave you a simple little picture of the beautiful area at which I spent three weeks of my summer. I will most likely post more so stay tuned!
